Personal Branding 2.0

The primary objective of the working session is to investigate which role personal branding plays in a lawyer’s professional success on today’s market. We will look at the topic from various perspectives, including that of a sole practitioner, a partner in a multi-partner law firm, and an in-house counsel.

In an interactive moderated program addressed to both experienced and young lawyers, whether working as an attorney or in-house counsel, we will explore the creation, development and evolution of personal networks and relationships tools such as social media.

In this innovative, practical and experimental presentation, personal branding expert, Global Leading Authority on Networking and experienced attorney Itzik Amiel will share with the participants how attorneys can highlight their unique talents and abilities, manage their perceptions, and achieve greater success as a lawyer in the process.

Itzik Amiel has almost two decades of international tax and cross-border experience in advising and assisting companies in their international expansion, including entering and expansion in BRIC markets (and in specific in India, China); cross-border M&A; international restructuring and tax planning advice includes establishing businesses and IPO in Europe, real estate investment funds and projects, financial and hybrid instruments, International estate planning and wealth management. Itzik holds degrees in Law (LL.B. (Cum Lauda) (Hebrew University) and advance LL.M. in international tax (Leiden University). Itzik also studied international tax and accounting, he is also certified mediator in tax and commercial legal subjects, and he is certified trust and estate planner (TEP).

In addition to his global and significant network and long-term relationship with professional firms, reputable companies and HNWI, he has extensive experience in international business development and international expansion through his working career in a senior positions at one of the leading Trust companies, ABN AMRO and Moore Stephens International. Itzik lead and supported many professional associations and networks in their international growth. Itzik also helps on a regular basis train and coach personnel of firms as well as develop and execute strategic plans of professional firms. Currently, Itzik is the founder and CEO of EyeRon Group, focused on international expansion of companies (mainly to BRIC countries and emerging markets); Cross- border M&A and investments; International Business Development. Furthermore, Itzik is a partner and the Global Expansion Director of International Referral Network (the largest network of law firms, accounting firms, and advisers with members in over 140 countries).
